Thanks to Helen Shield at our local ABC radio for interviewing me last night about the Sacred Sauna story in Organic Gardener magazine (which is an ABC publication).

When my Finnish friend, artist Nanna Bayer, built a handcrafted sauna in her Hobart garden, and I was keen to experience a traditional herbal sauna healing. I emerged, treasuring a glimpse into what I called botanical mysticism, and realising that the dumbed down version of saunas we are used to in Australia, is a poor relation of the real thing.
