A Parallel Universe
I swam among canyons of coral in the company of the Underwater Society of Fish and Associates (USFA), a parallel universe existing quietly beside our earthy border. I noticed tribal subsets within this refined community, such as the bright, darting clubs of tiny, brilliant blue damsel fish, kinetic ornaments, moving as one like clusters of painted rain drops, presumably not seen by hungry sea birds hovering above because they are as turquoise as the sea seems to be, until you are in it, when it becomes clear as glass…
